Guest Booking Terms & Notice

Version 1.0 • Effective March 29, 2026

These guest booking terms apply when you book a ride through Mango without creating or signing into an account. Mango B.V. operates the marketplace platform only. The taxi ride itself is supplied by the driver or transport business that accepts the booking.

1. Contract structure

  • Mango is not the carrier and does not itself provide taxi transport.
  • Your transport contract is with the driver or the driver’s taxi undertaking.
  • Mango may collect and process the fare as disclosed collection and payment agent for the driver.

2. Guest booking scope

  • Guest users must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into the booking arrangement.
  • Guest booking is for your own ride only at launch.
  • Guest users may not use Mango to arrange rides for another person or for an unaccompanied minor.
  • You must provide accurate booking and contact information.

3. Quotes, timing, and availability

  • Prices, ETAs, and vehicle availability shown before booking are estimates unless and until the booking is confirmed.
  • Mango does not guarantee that a driver will accept every requested ride.
  • Platform downtime, interruptions, or payment delays do not create a service-level guarantee for guest users.

4. Payments, cancellations, and disputes

  • By proceeding, you authorize Mango to process payment on behalf of the driver for the applicable ride charges.
  • Cancellation, no-show, and verified incident charges are governed by Mango’s separate policy disclosed during booking.
  • Charge disputes, ride complaints, and incident reviews may require Mango to share booking and payment evidence with the driver, payment providers, insurers, or regulators where lawful.

5. Conduct and safety

  • You must comply with Mango’s community and safety rules.
  • Fraud, abusive behavior, payment abuse, or misuse of the guest flow may lead to booking refusal, payment blocking, or future access restrictions.
  • If an incident occurs during the ride, the driver remains primarily responsible for transport performance and vehicle-related obligations.

6. Liability and mandatory law

  • Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under mandatory law.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mango is not liable for indirect, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from guest use of the platform.
  • Mango’s role is limited to platform operation, payment facilitation, moderation, privacy compliance, and related support.
